The mission of the Graph AdvocatesDAO is to drive greater participation in building a decentralized web3 and grow The Graph ecosystem by supporting community-based initiatives and through contributions of Graph Advocates.

Advocate Roles

  • Event evangelist

    Event Evangelist

    Proactively host and participate in The Graph events (online or in-person), and attend regional industry events.

  • Content Creator

    Content Creator

    Create original content related to The Graph or web3, such as articles, video, infographics, memes or GIFs, how-to guides, animations, and many other creative materials.

  • Text Translator

    Text Translator

    Translate The Graph documentation or other community materials into other languages

  • Community Care

    Community Care

    Look out for the community, share content, answer community questions, or provide directions to additional resources, posted in The Graph's Telegram, Forum, Discord, or Reddit channels.

  • Technical Teacher

    Technical Teacher

    Educate others on how to use or build subgraphs, participate in The Graph Network, and coach community members on how they can best contribute to The Graph.

Background

I am originally from Ecuador where I lived before coming to the US for college. I worked as a civil engineer for 3 years out of college, then switched to finance doing business valuations for about 5 years. Most recently I founded a food manufacturing and marketing company in Chicago which I managed for 10 years and sold in 2022.

What Inspired you to select advocate role?:

When I joined October 2022 there was a need to help translate The Graph's website into Spanish. This has been a fun project which has also helped keep my Spanish from getting rusty.
